Financial Law, Corporate Law & Compliance
Philippe specialises in financial law, corporate law and compliance. He advises entrepreneurs, financial institutions and private individuals on complex legal matters and assists clients in both advisory matters and litigation. His approach goes beyond the legal options alone: he always considers the broader strategy and his client’s best interests.

Within financial law and compliance, Philippe’s practice includes anti-money laundering legislation (AML), customer due diligence (CDD/KYC), termination of banking relationships, sanctions law and corporate compliance. He also advises and litigates on matters relating to privacy law, enforcement disputes and a wide range of corporate law issues.

Study & Career
Philippe obtained his bachelor’s degree from the European Law School at Maastricht University, where he studied both European and Dutch law. He subsequently completed a master’s degree in Dutch Law at Radboud University Nijmegen, specialising in corporate law.

Philippe has been practising as a lawyer at Law&Pepper Advocaten since December 2020. Over the course of his practice, he has further specialised in financial law, corporate law and compliance. In May 2026, he successfully completed the specialist programme in Anti-Money Laundering Legislation and Corporate Compliance, further deepening his expertise in the Dutch Anti-Money Laundering and Anti-Terrorist Financing Act (Wwft), sanctions law and corporate compliance.

Register of practice areas
In the register of practice areas of the Netherlands Bar Association, Philippe has registered the practice areas of Financial law and Privacy law. To maintain this registration, according to the standards of the Netherlands Bar Association he must obtain ten training points in each registered practice area every calendar year.
